Crystal: (Sounds flakey) Welcome back. This is Crystal Dreams. Today on Nature's Medicine we're talking to Puffo the Great, creator of Puffo's Magic Healing Potion. Puffo, can you tell us about this wonderful product of nature?

Puffo: (Like a hack magician) This is Puffo the Great. I
have in my hand a magic potion that will cure any health problem you may have. Got a cold? This potion's for you. Got a bad foot? This potion's for you. Got bad breath? Brush your teeth. (Chuckles at his own joke) But seriously, if you have a real health problem, Puffo's Magic
Healing Potion can cure you. It's wonderful, it's amazing! It's Puffo's Magic Healing Potion.

Crystal: It certainly sounds wonderful and made from
completely organic ingredients, I hope.

Puffo: Of course.

Crystal: Where did you find such an amazing product?

Puffo: (Sounds mysterious) While on an expedition to
Egypt, I unearthed ancient manuscripts that contained instructions for making the potion of the pharaohs. (Gong sound) For just $10 the secrets of the ancient Egyptians can be yours.

Crystal: Looks like we have a caller. Hello, welcome to
Nature's Medicine. Do you have a question for

Caller: (Confident, but trying to be helpful) Yeah, Poofo?
About this magic potion. It seems kind of pricey to me.

Puffo: Can one really put a price on good health?

Caller: Oh, I'm all for being healthy. I'm just saying I think it's priced a little high. I mean, I already know Someone I can go to for healing;and He doesn't charge a dime!

Puffo: Well, I'm sure your friend must charge something if He offers a product that really works.

Caller: Oh, He doesn't sell a product.

Puffo: Then what does He sell?

Caller: He doesn't sell anything. He just offers healing to those who call upon His name...that is if the healing doesn't go against His will.

Poofo: Well, your friend does sound interesting, but He
doesn't sound like a very good businessman.

Caller: He's not a businessman. He's God.

Puffo: Oh. (Uncomfortable pause) Well, He probably doesn't need the money then.

Caller: Yeah, probably not. Well, that's all I wanted to say. I just thought you might want to know that you have some pretty stiff competition.

Crystal: Thank you, caller. That's all the time we have for today. Thank you for tuning in to Nature's Medicine. If you would like to order "Puffo's Magic Potion" call the station for more information. It's a steal at only ten...

Puffo: (Whispering) Five.

Crystal: Five dollars a bottle. This is Crystal Dreams
wishing you sunshine and rainbows.

Puffo: Why doesn't anyone screen those calls?

What was Puffo trying to sell?

Why did the caller say Puffo's potion was too expensive?

Why did Puffo begin offering his potion at a lower price?

1. After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7. The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Baby Shari was born blind. She had only one lung, and her internal organs were not in a normal position. Fourteen doctors said they could do nothing for her. Shari's great-grandmother and a friend prayed for her all night. The next morning the doctors found that Baby Shari could see, she had two perfect lungs, and everything inside was normal. God had completely healed Shari.

*Shari (Ball) Gambino and her family attended Central Assembly of God, Springfield, Missouri.

James was in army training. One day while hiking with a full field pack, he fainted from heat. When he fell backward, his skull was cracked in seven different ways. After seventeen days in a coma, James awoke. He had four strokes. His right side was paralyzed. After five months doctors couldn't help him anymore. His head hurt all the time, he was losing his eyesight, and he used a crutch, dragging his paralyzed right foot. Two months later James went to a service with two thousand other believers. He asked for prayer. Two ministers began to pray for him. Suddenly, James felt the power of God in his body. He was completely healed. He could move his right arm, which had been paralyzed. James stood and began jumping around. When James went back to the doctors, they could find no cracks in his skull, and he had no paralysis.

*James P. Sturgeon and his wife later served as pastors in Oklahoma. His healing took place at the annual Oklahoma District Council of the Assemblies of God in Seminole.

When April was ten years old, her fourth-grade teacher noticed that April was having problems seeing. April's parents took her to get her eyes checked, thinking she might need glasses. The doctors said April had a serious eye disease that would lead to blindness. People who heard about April began to pray for healing. Five months later April went back to the doctor. He gave them the good news that April's eyes had improved so much she did not need glasses. Two months later the doctor checked April again, and her vision was perfect. The doctor could find no medical reason for the total change. April was also healed of stomach pains and headaches.

*April and her parents Gary and Karma Nelson are from Duncombe,Iowa.

What did the man do?

EXODUS 15:26...And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

What does Exodus 15:26 tell us about God?

What can we do when we are sick?
