Before you go any further---go get a parent. Go on, I promise, I won't go anywhere. This is important...really important. We don't want to leave mom and dad out of this.

Mom and Dad, this is a very important page on our site and if your child has decided to read this, then he/she may be facing the most important decision they will ever make. It is important for you to take this time to read this page with your child...and then help him/her to decide if they are ready to get saved based on the following:

KNOWLEDGE---Does your child understand that he/she has a problem with sin and that sin seperates him/her from God? Not that they are a BAD person, but that EVERYONE, even them, by nature are sinners and need to be saved? Does he/she believe that Jesus is God's one and only Son and that He died on the cross so that he/she might be saved from the wages of their sin (wages being spiritual death)? Does he/she understand what steps he/she needs to take in order to be saved?

FEELINGS---Are the facts he/she is learning making an impact on him/her? Does he/she know that he/she needs Jesus and what is involved in accepting Him as Lord and Savior? Does he/she feel the consequences of sin upon his/her life? Are there signs of sorrow for sin? Does the child feel a need to be forgiven?

ACTIONS---Does the child exhibit a change of heart? Is he/she willing to demonstrate his/her faith and allow Jesus to be his/her Lord? Is he/she already making an effort to know God better?

Most importantly, regardless of how you as an adult may feel, please do not deny your child the most important relationship he/she could have...turn this decision over to God and allow God's Word and His Spirit to speak to your child's heart. Be supportive and understanding. Do not be too quick to talk your child out of making a decision for Christ. It takes a lot of courage for anyone to make this decision.

Now (and this is for everyone reading this) take a moment to pray that God will give you understanding and help you make the right decision...

then, read on...

"What must I do to be saved?"

Have you ask that question before?

Are you wondering about that now?

Have you given much thought to where you will live after you have died?...or should Jesus return...have you thought that you just might be LEFT BEHIND?

So, where would you go if you were to die this very minute?

Everyone who has sinned would go to hell. But.....keep reading. This isn't the final answer to the question. :)

I don't know, some may think they're not sinners. But even if you have even sinned just a little once......hey your still a sinner.:)

Everyone has sinned. We are all sinners.

In the bible, Romans 3:23 says: "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God."

And another verse, Romans 3:10 says: "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one."

God's Free gift to you......

God loves you alot, but God also hates sin A LOT.

Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus our Lord."

That means that if you've sinned you will go to hell. But God gave you a gift, that even though you've sinned you can still except His gift to you and have eternal life in Heaven.

John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that who ever believes in Him shouldn't perish, but have eternal life."

It means that God loved us so much, that God gave His only Son to die for our sins so that we would have the choice to choose Him and be free from sin, and go to Heaven instead of hell. :)

In Revelation 3:20, it says: "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to them."

In other words, Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart and if you open up the door for Him, He will come in.

Romans 10:13 says: "For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

Also Romans 10:9: "That if you confess with your mouth the the Lord Jesus, and will believe with your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

In 1 John 1:9, it says: "If we confess our sins, (God) is faithful and just and will forgive us of our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

So if you confess your sins to God and ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and believe that He is God, you will be saved from hell. Also God doesn't only want to save you from hell, He wants to be your friend. :) When you feel as if you don't have any friends,.....hey, God will be your friend, someone who you can talk to anytime, He cares for you, When you're feeling sad or down and out, He'll comfort you.:) He won't only listen to your prayers, He will answer them. Like He does for me.

If you prayed that prayer, you are free from sin and will go to to heaven whenever you die...as long as you maintain a right relationship with Jesus. This means, if you fall flat on your face and sin...don't give up, don't wallow in it...repent! Get back on track!

Jesus will be your true friend forever. :)

Regardless, whether you just prayed that prayer or not, I would still like to pray for you. Contact me using the comment form below. God Bless!
